Ukrainian Dignitaries, responsible for the Foreign Policy Matters, are supposed to uphold Positions of our State, in particular It concerns Territorial Integrity Issues
Giving answers to the journalists´ questions on Tuesday after the meeting with Kelmentsi town residents regarding The Hague Court judgment concerning Zmiiny Island, V. Lytvyn declared that "Ukraine lost and Ukrainian high-ranking authorities, approving scrutiny of this issue in the international courts, speaking about the positive for Ukraine judgment, were led by their wishes, not real facts."
"If it had concerned entente cordiale of Ukraine with Romania, in such a case there would not have been any initiation of legal action", - he emphasized.
V. Lytvyn is convinced that actions of certain radicals, declaring on the other countries claims to a territory of Ukraine should be ceased.
"The President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are not supposed to let such actions without attention; they should uphold Ukrainian interests more actively. We have no claims to the territory of other countries and Ukraine is not indebted to someone", - he announced.
As it was informed previously, V. Lytvyn is staying with the working visits in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions.
